Siamo sicuri del fatto che il teatro ha bisogno oggi più che mai di sostenibilità, di scelte responsabili, di gestioni assennate, di rappresentanze lungimiranti, di sovrintendenti virtuosi. 
Non possiamo più permetterci deficit alcuno, è il nostro posto di lavoro che è in pericolo, tanti pensano che il mondo degli anni '80, '90 sia finito, che si vada verso anni peggiori, che ci sia bisogno di riflettere sulle scelte future, su dove stiamo andando. 
Abbiamo vissuto sopra le nostre possibilità, in occidente, nel mondo avanzato. Di fronte a tutto questo, ai tagli, al blocco dello stipendio, a Pomigliano, all'aumento dell'età pensionabile, ale imprese che chiudono, dobbiamo tenere alta la guardia per nn perdere i diritti acquisiti, non dobbiamo porgere la guancia a impresari e speculatori senza scrupoli che della crisi fanno un'arma, ma è importante anche non credere a un sindacalismo accanito e sfrenato, più volte criticato da istituzioni, stampa e cittadini stessi.
Non vogliamo il Mago di Oz vogliamo scelte responsabili.

C'è l'accordo alla Global
L’accordo prevede la richiesta della cassa integrazione in deroga per tutti i lavoratori rimasti a casa, più un anno di cassa straordinaria. Intanto l’azienda si impegnerà a ricollocare i 18 dei suoi ex dipendenti entro il 31 dicembre 2011, riconoscendo un incentivo di 20mila euro a chi decidesse di trovarsi autonomamente una sistemazione lavorativa. Contemporaneamente verrà garantito dalla Provincia un accompagnamento formativo a tutti coloro che, al termine del prossimo anno, non avessero ancora maturato i requisiti per la pensione e si trovassero senza un’occupazione.

Ci sono voluti quasi due mesi di trattativa, ma finalmente è stato trovato l’accordo tra i lavoratori e la Global Business, per salvare 40 operai rimasti senza lavoro dopo la decisione dei vertici aziendali di cessare l’attività di montaggio ruote che svolgevano per la FIAT nei capannoni di via della Libertà.

Non però la Regione, che ha sempre rifiutato un coinvolgimento nella trattativa.
Dalla fine di aprile i lavoratori della Global Business avevano attivato un presidio permanente davanti ai cancelli della loro fabbrica per evitare che venisse costantemente svuotata dei macchinari e delle ruote, pronte per essere trasportate a Volvera nella sede della Mectrans, l’azienda che aveva rilevato l’0attività della Global Business assorbendo anche otto suoi dipendenti.
Dalla fine di aprile i lavoratori della Global Business avevano attivato un presidio permanente davanti ai cancelli della loro fabbrica per evitare che venisse costantemente svuotata dei macchinari e delle ruote, pronte per essere trasportate a Volvera nella sede della Mectrans, l’azienda che aveva rilevato l’0attività della Global Business assorbendo anche otto suoi dipendenti.
Nei giorni passati non sono mancati momenti di alta tensione, che più volte hanno richiesto l’intervento delle forze dell’ordine, ma i lavoratori sono quasi sempre riusciti a impedire a camion e furgoni l’ingresso dentro i capannoni.

Sono davanti all’azienda dal 27 aprile, 24 ore su 24, con ogni condizione climatica, dormendo in un camper che prima era usato dai militanti No Tav. Hanno una certezza: quella di combattere per una causa, per il proprio lavoro, i propri figli, chi li ha, o semplicemente contro quella che è stata considerata un’ingiustizia.

Gli operai non hanno attirato l’attenzione soltanto della stampa e degli studenti. Fra loro c’è anche una laureanda in antropologia culturale, Sara Curci, proveniente da Siena: sta preparando la sua tesi specialistica, che verte sull’integrazione fra operai italiani e migranti nelle aziende del torinese in condizioni di crisi.
“Sono qui da una settimana, ma in precedenza mi sono preparata con un mese di ricerca in altri presidi a Torino, contattati tramite alcuni sindacalisti – racconta la Curci. Ormai sono diventata una di loro: mi hanno accolta, dandomi da dormire nel loro camper, e sono stata integrata, in un clima di generale buon umore, nonostante non manchino gli attriti. Ho notato, tramite quella che antropologicamente si definisce osservazione partecipante, che tra di loro c’è una fortissima unione, derivante dalla difficoltà comune, e una maggiore integrazione tra italiani e stranieri. Loro stessi se ne rendono conto.”

Tanti sono anche i momenti di attesa, gli spazi liberi per pensare e riflettere, e così qualcuno di loro ha colto l’occasione per dare sfogo alla sua vene artistica. Walter Trignani per esempio ha disegnato sulla strada antistante il presidio 18 sagome di uomini, tanti quanti coloro che più hanno creduto nella protesta e continuano a farlo.
